2015 ATRRM Railway Preservation Conference & Annual Meeting

Hosted by the Illinois Railway Museum, the 2015 Railway Heritage Preservation Conference & Annual Meeting will be held in Union Illinois, from September 17 through September 19, with pre-conference events taking place on September 14, 15 & 16, and a post-conference trip opportunity on September 20. An experience like no other, this year's seminars will take place on the property of the Illinois Railway Museum (IRM) and feature over 40 seminars (click here for a list) covering a wide range of relevant topics from advocacy and effective marketing, to best practices, administration and shop work.
Register online using one of links below (members) OR download and print the registration package (members and non-members). Please note: If you need to cancel your registration, please send an email to prior to September 7, 2015. There will be a $50 administration fee for cancellations made before that date. No cancellation refunds after September 7.
CONFERENCE PRICING:
Conference registration ($200 for members; $275 for non-members) includes all seminars, breaks and evening events, including the Saturday night banquet and shuttle transporation between the conference hotel (Holiday Inn Express - Crystal Lake) and IRM. Additional banquet-only tickets are available for $20 and can be added to your registration. PLEASE NOTE: CONFERENCE PRICES INCREASE AFTER SEPTEMBER 7 ($250 for members; $325 for non-members after September 7).
Optional pre-conference events, which are available for an additional fee, include:
- National Railroad Museum - Green Bay, WI ($65, Monday, September 14)
- Mid-Continent Railway Museum - North Freedom, WI (SOLD OUT)
A choice of two pre-conference events will be offered on Wednesday, September 16:
- Option A: Electric Museum Tours (SOLD OUT)
- Option B: Chicago area tours ($40)
A chartered post-conference trip to the Monticello Railway Museum is tentatively planned for Sunday, September 20 ($60), and will be finalized based on interest.
To help offset the costs of attending the Fall Conference, ATTRM awards stipends and scholarships to qualified applicants. The ATRRM Youth Scholarship and Stephen E. Patrick Memorial Stipend applications are available for download below. Submission deadline for each application is August 15.
